There was a very particular style of DDOS attack just now, it was mitigated.

You've hit the nail on the head right here.
I find when I don't get enough sleep, my concentration levels decrease. The good ol' "You have an error In your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server...." comes more often than not. When all It Is (example) Is a backtick, single quote or opening/closing parentheses omitted In a given SQL Statement.
I think most people can attest to a similar experience. We know what happens to us when we don't sleep. I know some people who've pushed themselves to 3 days without and then collapsed. It's amazing how we evolved to need sleep, like so many other species, but even with our intelligence, never managed to bypass the need for it through science. We can elongate our lifespan by decades, but can't avoid sleep.

Very well said.
No matter how hard you try to fight sleep deprivation, your body "will" shutdown. I've never attempted more than a day without sleep. Honestly, without the aid of drugs (which I don't take and never will), I couldn't hit being awake for 2 days straight.

It must've been of Interest to you and on that alone, It's well worth It.
Aside from not having the time to watch TV, there's so much trash In my locality that It's simply a waste of time for myself to sit there and try to enjoy something that's boring and bland.

I've currently been awake for 58 hours (stupid personal & job stuff always gotta fuck everything up). But otherwise, I usually sleep 5 - 7 hours on workdays, and 10 - 12 hours on weekends.
