There was a very particular style of DDOS attack just now, it was mitigated.

On topic of sleep, there was an ad In my locality whereby It mentioned that If you're awake for more than 24 hours In any one time, It Is the equivalent to being over the legal limit of DUI.

In other words, It has the same effect on your judgement and alertness as driving under the Influence of alcohol. Given we all have different tolerance levels, I don't believe this Is true for each and every person.

This is actually quite interesting. I tend to stay awake longer than it's good and sleep in the noon. Thanks for the contribution.

In all seriousness, I get maybe 4-5 hours on a good weeknight.

It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

I'm very much the same as yourself.

I hit 20 hours + straight without Issues. It's the Intensity of my computational work that keeps me going, whereby my mind Is very focused and active. I honestly don't remember that last time I dedicatedly watched TV- even for 15 minutes or so.

This does make sense actually. It's about your ability to function? Realistically we're meant to be asleep for a third of a day, so when you push your body too far without sleep, you eventually loose much of your natural high functioning after rest. Concentration is probably the first thing to go, right?

You've hit the nail on the head right here.

I find when I don't get enough sleep, my concentration levels decrease. The good ol' "You have an error In your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server...." comes more often than not. When all It Is (example) Is a backtick, single quote or opening/closing parentheses omitted In a given SQL Statement.

This is interesting. There was an experiment done in Mythbuster in the past. Driving a car without much sleep vs. drunk.

The last time I dedicatedly watched TV was a months ago or so I think. It was a documentation about different cultures and their lifestyle from around the globe.
