If you use the OEM's Recovery partition, you will not need to Install any drivers- they're Included In the partition.

I also recommend Installing via the manufacturer's website. The drivers could come from any source when using tools that scan your system and Install thereafter. That aside, Snappy Driver Installer Is totally free (GPLV3 licensed) and does the job well.

If I just reinstalled windows, would that OEM still have the retail drivers? If so how do I boot into OEM? I am so tired right now I just want this fixed tbh.

I understand your exhaustion, this can be quite frustrating.

This relates to both Windows 8 & Windows 10. To reset your PC using the OEM Recovery partition, you need to access the "Advanced Startup Options". From there, you choose "Troubleshoot > Reset This PC".

There's a few ways to get Into the Advanced Startup Options, but I'll only name a couple.

(1). By default, after ex-amount of forced boot up attempts, Windows will automatically go to the Advanced Startup Options. You can purposely keep rebooting via the power button and force a reboot. Given this Is not standard practice, Windows will Identify just that and take you to the Advanced Startup Options.

(2). In the Windows environment, enter "settings" (no quotes) In the Start menu's search bar, click on "Update & security > Recovery" and you will see "Advanced Startup". Click "Restart now".

Here's mine on Windows 10.

Keep my files or remove everything? I don't care about files I care about the drivers the laptop came with. Literally my 1050ti is bricked at the moment. I need my retail drivers pre-installed.

Removing everything Is similar to that of a clean Installation of Windows.

It will go back to It's factory/default state- the same as when you purchased your PC. Drivers were Installed then, and the same will apply using this option. Be patient, though. It may take quite a few hours, so don't panic If It sits there (seemingly) doing nothing.

Ok I'll try. Honestly if the drivers aren't there I'm screwed.

I've performed It countless times, and no Issues with missing drivers.

That's what the OEM Recovery partition Is all about, everything relative to the Original Equipment Manufacturer, drivers Inclusive. If by any chance a driver Is missing (after all, It Is Microsoft we're dealing with) simply navigate to the manufacturer's website.

It didn't work man. All my drivers are gone. All of them. The Nvidia one is beyond broken...

From the time of your last post questioning what option to use (25 minutes ago), It could not have taken this quick to remove everything from your PC.

Elaborate exactly what happened and where you're at.

I literally clicked remove everything from the settings. Just like the screenshot. It's a very high end laptop and the OS is on an SSD.

Is this the option you selected?

Each and every time I performed this (and as stated In the screenshot), It's taken hours.

I can do this again. It never kept my drivers, the stock wallpaper, or anything. I'm actually screwed. I hate Linux because of this. I actually have a bricked GPU due to Nvidia's BS. I can't return something like this because it's Walmart. I couldn't afford a $200 warranty. Here is a pic of what I did.
