How do I delete my Kali partitions #1
Kali decided to be the broken garbage it is and not boot anymore. I tried deleting my partitions in diskmgmt.msc but when I right click anything he word "help" comes up. Did Kali just brick my fucking HDD? I refuse to buy third party software.
Need help with anything involving servers, network troubleshooting, primitive hosting, etc? Message me!

Are you trying to boot windows? If you cant boot into windows anymore after removing kali (grub) boot a windows recovery disk, select safe mode with command prompt, type "bootrec /fixmbr"

EDIT: Im an idiot. Windows disk management does not like linux partitions or raid. If you cant remove them from there, try the more powerful DISKPART tool. Failing that, free bootable solutions like GParted are your friend.

That is likely because windows doesn't understand what kind of partition that is, or the partition is corrupt. Try using "delete partition override" in diskpart, and see if that has an effect. Keep in mind if you remove the grub partition (provided you installed it when you installed kali) that removing the kali partition that contains grub will render your windows machine unable to boot, until you use a windows recovery disk to rebuild the master boot record.

Free ones? Gparted is and always has been free. Diskpart is part of windows. An install disk can be used for recovery, or you can have windows make a recovery disk for you. I also have Windows 7/8/10 isos if you need them.

Its on a secondary HDD, Gparted sounds complex and avoidable, my laptop DOES NOT have a disc drive, etc. Will third-party GUI options work?

Win 10 can do recovery usbs, or you can use stuff like unetbootin or yumi. And Gparted has a GUI. Its actually pretty simple to use.

How do I use it because the tutorials I have seen are completely false and almost polar opposites of what I see on my screen. Probably why Kali did this tbh.

I can help if you would like. You can hit me up on our discord server. Gparted and diskpart look daunting, but they really aren't.
