Hi,
First I gotta say that I am not a hacker. I took a course a hundred years ago in Basic, but I'm sure no one uses it any more. So the extent of my computer knowledge is click or double click.

That said, my computer was infected with 'security protection'. But I didn't want to ask you guys about cleaning it, the people I bought it from tell me they can get rid of it, I will have to deal with losing whatever I put on it. And that's OK because it's only a month old and I can get it all back in a day or two.

What I want is retribution, you know revenge. This is the second time, the first time was on an acient tablet (pre,pre,pre-iPod). I only paid $20 for it and I had it a couple years before the infection, so it time to get a new one anyway.

I am sure you know how it worked but let me vent anyway, yeah? The software starts with windows and puts up a fake scan. It also puts up a fake ad. It's gotta be a fake ad right? You wouldn't expect me to buy something from you after you take control on my computer right? Anyway it's really anoying.

Here's what I'd like to do and you guys, please tell me if I can, teach me how, advise me along the way etc

I want to find out the source.
dig out the origin, the distributer, you know, the culprit and infect him with a similar viris, but instead of a fake ad maybe kitten videos, or something even more annoying, but I'd like it to replicate itself everytime he touches it. That way it'll take him more than 3 minutes to killl it. And then leave no trace.

I suggest you use Malwarebyte Anti-Malware
and ESET Smart Security.
So far they have perform well
and to my satisfaction.

Its easy to protect yourself from malicious file's with a good av and its easier if you know what to look for in a malicious file.

But bare in mind not every virus is detectable.
