You're not one of those Nando's fanatics are you?

hell no. im not cheap but not stupid. like 10-15 for meal. i could get same meal for 6 quid and more stuff mini platter with drink 6 quid boom. gotta go to them good peri shops not many around. but i do go nandos here n there. And i love spicy food gotta have spicy chilli sauce not really into ketchup

Lol! I was very disappointed by Nando's. I feel like I'd need to enjoy spicey stuff to enjoy it. When I ate their mild chicken I sat there like "I could have cooked this better at home...".

I hear that haha. Had them moments here n there. If you like spicy food check naga wings out omg shit is good. but depends on shops. many don't make it properly

Since I've been in the states a bunch, I've started to really like Mexican food. It's pretty hard to find decent, inexpensive Mexican places in the UK, though there are more restaurants opening.

true that uk lacking. but slowly slowly stores starting to open. there's a lot of good places to eat in london if you do research from arab to cuban to malay. a lot of the gems are hidden/not advertised properly. i found a few via food vloggers etc by watching youtubers.

There's been quite a few new Mexican places opening, so my hope is they'll start having competitive (cheaper) pricing with more popularity.

As much as I like the odd visit to London, I can't say I'd opt to go out to eat there. I don't live close enough to justify the cost (it's been around 4 years since I last went to London).
That is so true though. London's best food places are the ones nobody knows about.

There's a taco bell in London!?

Actually, there's quite a few new places popping up. In the South East at least...

When I was eating takeout, Taco Bell was one of my favorites.

I live in the UK and it is really lacking in chain restaurants compared to USA. Nothing beats a good local chicken ship in my opinion : dirt cheap (useful when you're a student , 40p per chicken wing seems to be the going rate) , service is always friendly and relaxed , the food tastes great aswell (if you choose the right shop).

Other than that , any accounts I can crack/ buy cheap seem to be where I'll eat if I have a choice. nandos / subway / dominos / kfc.

In my opinion , nandos is one of the best but as I said , the UK is lacking and it doesn't have much competition.

Definitely need to try some of these places if ever I visit the US.

My girlfriend and I go out for food quite often, we enjoy going to Weatherspoons, but that isn't a restaurant, it's pub, but they also do meals, lunches, dinners, etc. They actually do weekly food promotions, which include things such as "Steak Club" on Tuesday, "Chicken Club" on Wednesday, "Curry Club" on Thursday, and "Fish and Chips" on Friday. We normally get different food though - they even do desserts, but we don't touch those normally, unless we're on our cheat day. The food there is always delicious, not to mention their alcohol/drinks prices and deals...Very cheap and good.

Harvester is a good restaurant. I enjoy the food, the ambiance and the quality service that is provided there. It's really nice. I will admit it's quite expensive to go there too often, but it's a memorable experience when I do get to go.

Golden corral, or Red Lobster. Can't decide.
