Favourite Restaurant - Jim Carroll - 01-10-2018 What is everyone's favourite restaurant? Is there a certain restaurant you go to quite often with friends/family? My girlfriend and I go out for food quite often, we enjoy going to Weatherspoons, but that isn't a restaurant, it's pub, but they also do meals, lunches, dinners, etc. They actually do weekly food promotions, which include things such as "Steak Club" on Tuesday, "Chicken Club" on Wednesday, "Curry Club" on Thursday, and "Fish and Chips" on Friday. We normally get different food though - they even do desserts, but we don't touch those normally, unless we're on our cheat day. The food there is always delicious, not to mention their alcohol/drinks prices and deals...Very cheap and good. Harvester is a good restaurant. I enjoy the food, the ambiance and the quality service that is provided there. It's really nice. I will admit it's quite expensive to go there too often, but it's a memorable experience when I do get to go. RE: Favourite Restaurant - Hoss - 01-10-2018 The American Sandwich Company. It's a sandwich shop in my area that makes the best cheese steak I've ever had in my life. I go almost every day after work. RE: Favourite Restaurant - Synthx - 01-10-2018 I don't really get to go anymore as my dad says it "upsets" his stomach, but I really love Steak and Shake. I always get a grilled cheese with no fries, and a bowl of chili. I dip the grilled cheese in the chili, after that, I just finish off what's left of the chili. Sometimes I get two grilled cheese'. RE: Favourite Restaurant - mothered - 01-10-2018 I don't particularly have a favorite. I eat out a few times a week and anything that serves a good salad (caesar, garden), I'm there. And refreshing spring water to wash It down. RE: Favourite Restaurant - Sunny. - 01-10-2018 I like Indian food and sushi the most. I always eat out at our local Indian food restaurant, and I get discounts at Sushi North, since I work there. Sometimes, though, I like Mr. Mikes, or I eat out at a fast food place if I ever feel like it (Wendy's, A&W, etc.). I used to always go to Tim Horton's with my buddies, but I will never go there again as ever since Burger King's company purchased Tim Horton's, Tim Horton's has turned to shit. RE: Favourite Restaurant - Oni - 04-13-2019 Probably Outback Steakhouse. When I was visiting the UK, Weatherspoons was probably my favorite. Wetherspoon's is pretty good pub grub. Especially as it's almost as cheap as McDondald's and you can get an alcoholic drink with it for just an extra pound. Wetherspoon's is a chain, though. Some of the best food I've ever eaten has been pub food where they have award winning pies etc. Black Rabbit in Arundel (South-East, UK) is one of those super nice places. RE: Favourite Restaurant - mothered - 04-13-2019 When I used to eat takeout, I loved Subway. The problem was, at the time It was filling but a couple of hours later, I'd be quite hungry again. It didn't seem to hold my appetite. RE: Favourite Restaurant - Jiggly - 04-13-2019 (04-13-2019, 03:56 AM)mothered Wrote: When I used to eat takeout, I loved Subway. That's one of the reasons I'm not a huge subway fan. Tastes great at the time, and then I'm hungry just a couple hours later. That's too much bad food for you to feel like eating again shortly after. |
