Common sense and comodo FW(plus VT and Anubis for suspicious files). AV's lags my computer although I have pretty decent computer and it failed me when I needed it.

Would you please provide a download for this "Common sense" I can't find it anywhere, Ive went to the 3rd page of google, That is hard!

Oh, I've found it on the first page, second link. I guess I'm one of the few lucky people with that gift. Common sense is available to download only to few peoples... "The chosen ones". You can always buy cheap chinese memory stick and stick it to your brains.

I don't need to be paranoid as I have removed anything I've ever had to displeasure to obtain. Not too long ago, I got some ransomware, that was quite a challenge and first but ended up being really easy.

I use the free version of the one rated best in AV-Comparatives and other sites. For missing features, I look for free versions of other programs like software firewalls. Finally, I install free versions of anti-malware and then do scheduled non-real time scanning.

And that would be? I know AVC runs tests on various different aspects, so there isn't a top rated overall I don't believe.
