[Debate] Best Anti Virus? - Magic - 01-23-2013

Which anti virus do you guys think is the best overall one?

I use MalwareBytes but I don't consider it as a "Anti-Virus."

I think that a decent brain can keep most viruses away, just use your brain when you download something. I've never used any AV in 2 years now.

But if I had to decide I think Kaspersky is quite good.

Have you had a system scan recently?

Kaspersky is the best. Great live support, many extra functions, good malware defs.

I stopped using an AV a while ago, it just lags my PC and is unneeded. I use MB, Comodo Firewall, and the Vulcan scanner every now and again.

Microsoft Security Essentials and Avast are 2 that I've used.

Well, NOD32 has been out for ~25 years. It's dropping in popularity (in percentage) and isn't winning as many awards nor is it as renowned as other AVs today. Seems it's dropping out of business.

Common sense and comodo FW(plus VT and Anubis for suspicious files). AV's lags my computer although I have pretty decent computer and it failed me when I needed it.
