Thank you for this post, comes handy. No need to wait for getting Hiren's Boot CD from home to actually reset the password.
A small question about this. I'm one of those users that tends to disable stickykeys' shortcut in his machine.
Does this disable the shortcut on the whole machine, or just in the particular user account?

I'm not sure which shortcut you are specifically referring to. To know if it is disabled by default or only for the current user, press shift key 5 times on logon screen and check it.

I've tried it out. If I have a single user account on the machine and I disable sticky keys shortcut, it won't work on logon screen.
