I didn't think of the tech centers or businesses being effected by the chip shortage. It makes sense that they would be under equipped.

My country had been facing shortages everywhere. We have the double whammy of brexit and the pandemic. We have labour shortages (which led to the most retarded petrol panic buying), metal shortages, parts and components across many industries. I believe Nandos (a major spicy chicken place in the UK) had a chicken shortage (that was pretty funny). #
We also are facing issues where manufacturers shut down over 2020 and now in 2021, when we need all of their parts etc, they aren't able to keep up with demand.

Everyone was panic buying thinking they'd run out of toilet paper. They've now come to their senses, hence there's ample supplies.
