That's the thing. You'd think most people would realize it's a bad idea to let a 9 year old girl shoot a fully automatic gun without verifying her ability to do so. There are definitely children out there that can shoot really well, but there are also a lot of them that can't. I'd never impose some form of regulation if given the chance, but I think common sense would go a long way in these situations.

Idk I just find the whole concept pointless. How will teaching my 9 year old daughter how to shoot an UZI going to benefit her in any way at all? If it's just for a hobby or something, I would advise parents to get their children to partake in other activities that perhaps can't lead to someone's head being blown off.

As I said before gun control is an issue, and while their is the second amendment, it is just that an amendment so it can and should be modified more appropriately

Rifles are manageable, but personally I think children should not handle automatic weapons. Those can get crazy under panic.

That's really sad. Watching the video is heart breaking. The gun was being respected and handled in a safe manner. It doesn't matter what my personal opinion is on guns at this moment. Condolences to the families. Poor little girl too.
