Now install Windows back. If that didn't help, then its likely a hardware issue or you need some external drivers for boot. Like my PC required a custom AHCI driver (because my hard drive is stupid), before then it wouldn't boot. Just look it up, you should probably get some information.

That's correct, It's not the OEM Itself that prevents the Installation of a non-supported OS.

For example, If the PC has UEFI enabled (along with "Secure Boot"), It's Secure Boot that prevents unauthorized OSes from loading during the boot process. Secure Boot Is a UEFI protocol, and not a Windows 8 feature. In other words, Secure Boot makes sure that the PC only "BOOTS" Software that Is trusted by the PC "Manufacturer".

When the PC Boots, the Firmware checks the signature of each "BOOT" Software (OS Inclusive) and "Firmware" Drivers (HDD Firmware, Motherboard Firmware etc). If the signatures are good, then the PC Boots. If the signatures are Invalid, Secure Boot may stop the PC from Booting. That's It's Intention, hence many users simply disable It or convert to "Legacy Mode".
