Thanks for sharing everybody. Convinced me to give Linux a chance again. Although this time maybe with something other than Ubuntu (wasn't it just found vulnerable recently?). I'll probably try a few out in a VM first, and possibly dual boot if I decide I really enjoy one of them.

It got me to learn and to leave my initial comfort zone (the edge of my current comfort zone is machine learning). It also got me to join the open-source movement and be more aware of privacy and security.
Now that I think about it, I might not even be here without Linux.

Windows and macOS gave me paranoia. Linux gave me a new online life. I got a job due to Linux.
