I daily drive Arch Linux, but I do own a Mac as well. I only boot Windows on my tower to play games, which is becoming a less frequent occurrence regardless.

I'm curious what software you're using to manage your VM array? I was using a cracked version of VMWare back in my Windows days, but I've been using VirtualBox on my Linux installation as it has a native package. Considering moving to Boxes as well as what I've used of the Gnome environment I'm quite fond of.

VMware Workstation and Hyper-V.

Although Hyper-V chews Ram when running simultaneous VMs, both serve me very well Indeed.

I feel you there. Even with 32GB, I found myself force-quitting applications to unfreeze my machine. I don't know how people are scraping by with 8GB of RAM in this day and age.
