As a matter of Interest, what GPU are you running?

Using a GEFORCE RTX 3060 but thinking of downgrading as could use extra money  xD

You could easily sell your 3060 and make a good profit in the current market. If you're looking for a reasonable downgrade, I would go with a 2080.

i just started using kodachi linux. I'm pretty satisfied with it so far. Everything works right out of the box and it seems to have some pretty ridiculous settings out of the box.

basically privacy based ubuntu.

Im' going to put some tool packs on it and see whats good

If It suits your overall usability and exceeds your expectations, then It's the correct choice of OS.

macOS actually has insanely good APIs for lower level development. If you ever get a chance to read their documentation, I’d recommend it. Apple is pretty big brain. Despite their hiccoughs every now and then (like inputting no password resulting in root access a few years ago), they have security at the heart of their development cycle (along with some other paradigms like usability ).

That and macOS is a good middle ground as a programmer between Windows usability and Linux production workflow. You also get access to more programs you can use because companies like supporting macOS.

I certainly agree, however I'm heavily dedicated to the Windows platform with each and every task, hence It's not compatible with my environment In Its entirety.

For me I’m so used to command line now after using it for years that I got sick of it and switched to Windows from Linux. Oh the irony. I get you though.

But hey, WSL and WSL2 are fine supplements, at least I think so. So I just stick with Windows too at this point.
