No, I'm saying our electric grids are VERY vulnerable. So are our population centres. And everything else. You can't have freedom and absolute security. What I question is your cause/effect relationship between simulated events and the real events.
Contrary to what you seem to think, people did actually live before the wonders of modern electronics. That aside, with a small generator, I can keep my phone charged( pointless as it would be ), and power any equipment I'd need to cook shit. You should really stop jumping to conclusions about who I am, as you've yet to be remotely close.
No, this doesn't mean there will be a coordinated black out. Unless, of course, you buy into this conspiracy theory, in which case you should go buy a generator and a bunch of petrol.
