I sent over the first paypal installment . Because this is my first time using paypall , he managed to talk me into sending it as a friend and family payment (makes me realise how stupid I really am )

My bitcoin wallet is still empty and I have recieved no furthur communication from the seller , hence leading me to believe I was scammed.
to be honest right. you have to do a PayPal dispute. because really this forum can't do much about him. Also, did you read this thread below?

Biglad - Since you made this report more as a warning to other members, I'll spare you the spiel about how staff are unable to take action against users for scam reports when scams occur off-site. Thank you for sharing your experience. Let this be a warning to anyone doing deals in future.
