I support your thread, depression is common issue in 21st century. You must find something you are passionate about, something you like to do, something which inspires you and dedicate yourself to it. You need to be surrounded with family, quality friends. We don't have much time in our life as some people might say, time is passing pretty fast in the age of technology.
Don't make distance from your friends & family, spend more time with every person who means a lot to you. Visit some of the greatest places you always wanted to, with them.
And I agree with @Cyb3rNuX , you need to open yourself to someone, tell everything that bothers you, that's the best way to feel better and connect with others.

I totally agree. Life is too short to spend it on sadness because of other people's actions.

We should live our life as best as we can, no one should stop us from being happy.
