So (as a general example), I have a 5k 18" Dell Alienware lappy and a Bash Bunny USB stick. In their eyes, the latter presents no security risk whatsoever. Anything electronic (Irrespective of size), may well be used for malicious Intent.
There seems to be a lot of hints about this being related to the lithium ion batteries and their size. I really wouldn't know more on the matter, but I sure am curious!

This is probably true for a lot of security measures for all sorts of things. There's a reason "dummy" security cameras exist. Deterrents and pleasing stakeholders by making it look like you're invested in safety play their roles. I wonder how this ties into this ban if it really is to do with the batteries.
