Nope, it's a tabletop game! That's one of the best things about it though. You get a group of your good friends who are also interested together and designate a Dungeon Master to guide your group through a tale. The mechanics are a little complex and at least one person HAS to have a good grip on them or the game won't get very far, but it's a fun game because of how open ended it is. I played a few times and I remember one of the main villains secretly poisoning a river which was the water supply of a town we were passing through. We went into a shop there and just as the shop keep tried pulling a knife on us, one of the characters (A ranger) got his tiger to maul him. What a great time.
