I agree with all of them.  I wouldn't really call them "brutal" though.  

#1 is absolutely true.  People will make time if they want to.

I don't know about #1. I get loads of messages each day and sometimes a few slip through the cracks. It should be obvious if someone is ignoring or putting you off, though.

Yes, but I think its pretty true that if someone wants to do something or contact someone, they will make a good effort.
