It's really hard to say. We've had many members register and not actually become active until a year later. Some people just lurk, too. I'd assume more stick around during peaks of activity.

As someone who lurked on this forum for ~1 year (it's hell bringing up my post/day ratio, let me tellya) I can confirm this

I see many members come and go at different rates throughout my time here. It's can be saddening and refreshing at the same time, but it's probably quite difficult to gauge the 'retention rate %' without some implemented and probably complex algorithm already implemented into the forum backend long ago as to factor in the members who register and then come back months/years later
