On topic, I'm proud of you man, you sound like you're heading somewhere in life. Seriously keep up that hard work and you will. Once I'm out of the Navy, I plan to be an English Major in college.
As for your sleep deprivitg, I unfortunately have no advice to give as I suffer the same as you do unfortunately.
