While I believe that there is sexism in games, and gaming in general there is the overlaying theme that most people forget.
Game Dev's are mostly male, spend hundreds of hours sitting in front of a screen, and just want something to look at, that is why the physics of breasts have been so overly developed in video games and why outfits are so skimpy if you wore it RL you would be called a slut or wear some sort of body suit to hide the naughty bits.

But sexism goes back, like to the beginning of mankind. It is only now that we are mentally capable of distinguishing the sexist things said, seen, or done that we can look back and say it wasn't proper. Sadly some people are too politically correct, which causes more problems than good, thinking oh all women can do what men can, sorry the US Marines have proven this isn't so, we are biologically different but that shouldn't stop females from wanting to reach these goals.
In fact I feel more women should step out and demand proper pay, better characters, and new stories where they aren't little miss damsel in distress.

Why should women demand higher pay when they're already paid equally? The entire "women get paid less than men" deal is bullshit because some women, including pregnant women, ASK for part-time jobs instead of full-time.
