I don't like that it's a part of hacker-culture nowadays, and I wish it would stop. People need to learn to get along and stop doing childish shit like this.

While I agree with you, I didn't think that swatting was a part of hacker-culture. I thought it was the next most annoying thing up from calling a pizza joint and ordering 20 of them, solely because they got mad at someone and this is the most annoying thing they can do at getting them back.
