Coming out at all about any portion of my identity or sexuality.
I was born gay. But never told anyone until a few years ago that until 16, I was not interested in girls at all, once I found out they had different 'equipment' than guys. After 16, I went more and more towards girls. Being pansexual, I'm sexually attracted to whomever I am, but I prefer girls for the reason that they're more emotional than men are generally, and I love emotion.
And as far as being transgendered, its still not public fact, but here, my class mates, my girlfriend, and some of my closest friends are all who know. Very fearful to speak to my family about it still.
But, I've known since an early age, not quite sure when. I've hated myself since, for being as I am, so I know its not a phase type thing such as my little brother went through. He's more interested in just cross dressing.
Both are things that have been difficult to come out about, but I've started to reach that point as I get more and more confident in myself, and more support from others.
It may not be much to you guys when you compliment my appearance as was done in the PYP thread, but it helps me more than I can ever say to feel supported like that.
