I am currently debating with myself about it. Should I send the letters or just burn them and like ashes let them float away?

Well if you still feel like you want to say the things then you should send them but if you don't I would save them, and maybe show someone else how you feel. But if you truly have none of those feelings anymore then I'd just let them float and forget about the hardships of life.
