Thanks for the posts, but this is a little.. outdated.

To sum up what happened, I essentially ended up at home being terribly sick, and missed my opportunity, which sucked. However, we were talking a few days ago and I found out that she does have feelings for me. Not sure how to move further at this point (since, you know, she has a prom date), but I'll try and figure it out.

She can cancel or not show up if she really likes you. Or, you can wait. You better make your move, though.
