I'll be honest, I've not watched the full video (a little too long - perhaps I will go back and watch it in full at a later date). I watched a few minutes in an I have to say, I'm not Musk's biggest fan, and don't like everything he says, but I'm not entirely against such a strong standpoint in it's core intentions. It's rare to see businesses stand for what they believe in with no compromise. Perhaps it's a quality we need to see more.
However, if said company goes bust, there's people's livelihoods at stake. I don't think Musk is well-known for looking after the people who work for him (perhaps this is just a bad public image and not true, I hope I'm proved wrong), so I'm not entirely sure that would make it worth it. Is saying "fuck-you" to Disney worth more than someone being able to put food on their table? When you're in charge of a company, the people who work for it are subject to the consequences of the decisions you make.
That said, how would I know whether the twitter team don't completely agree with him? My opinion may not be relevant here given my lack of knowledge, but it does make me ask some questions. Interesting!
