Elon Tells Advertisers to Go Fuck Themselves - Dismas - 11-30-2023 Elon said that companies boycotting ads can "go fuck themselves". The big mouse was mentioned. Agree with his points on free speech. With Disney's push of social/political issues, it's good to have a counterforce. RE: Elon Tells Advertisers to Go Fuck Themselves - Xytyra - 12-02-2023 Let's be honest here: Blackmailing the richest man on earth with money. Like, for real? The one thing he probably does not care about is money. But I like his style. Saying "Fuck You" on national television is quite of a power move. I respect that. RE: Elon Tells Advertisers to Go Fuck Themselves - Boudica - 12-02-2023 I'll be honest, I've not watched the full video (a little too long - perhaps I will go back and watch it in full at a later date). I watched a few minutes in an I have to say, I'm not Musk's biggest fan, and don't like everything he says, but I'm not entirely against such a strong standpoint in it's core intentions. It's rare to see businesses stand for what they believe in with no compromise. Perhaps it's a quality we need to see more. However, if said company goes bust, there's people's livelihoods at stake. I don't think Musk is well-known for looking after the people who work for him (perhaps this is just a bad public image and not true, I hope I'm proved wrong), so I'm not entirely sure that would make it worth it. Is saying "fuck-you" to Disney worth more than someone being able to put food on their table? When you're in charge of a company, the people who work for it are subject to the consequences of the decisions you make. That said, how would I know whether the twitter team don't completely agree with him? My opinion may not be relevant here given my lack of knowledge, but it does make me ask some questions. Interesting! Likewise, should people have to compromise on their values in order to put food on the table? If anything, Disney is just as responsible for forcing social/political issues. Perfectly valid point. RE: Elon Tells Advertisers to Go Fuck Themselves - Marshland - 12-03-2023 I can get in on that message. However im not sure if Musk even realises what kind of damage he is doing. That man is a PR disaster Granted i wont loose a night sleep over the Musk and the Mouse losing money RE: Elon Tells Advertisers to Go Fuck Themselves - llllllllIllIl - 12-05-2023 He just doesn't care, like when he said to people not to invest on tesla RE: Elon Tells Advertisers to Go Fuck Themselves - roubet - 12-05-2023 he's a good guy.. i support what he says regarding this RE: Elon Tells Advertisers to Go Fuck Themselves - kaj123 - 12-06-2023 elon is sometimes so cringe RE: Elon Tells Advertisers to Go Fuck Themselves - Pruebita1 - 12-06-2023 Twitter will dead soon haha |
