Compared to Windows 10, It's significantly quicker - boot & shutdown times, hibernate & resume and most other tasks.

Boot being quicker doesn't surprise me, Msoft did a good job with W10 in comparison to 7 and 8. It's comforting to hear that it got quicker, but I wonder what they did to make that happen tho. If I remember correctly, W10 shutdown acts more like old hibernate, in the sense that shutting off the computer doesn't completely clear the state and just saving it to temp files in the disk.
Would you recommend the transition, or like, encourage people to make the upgrade?
