It's like making an arrest when there's reasonable grounds to do so - the police don't wait for a warrant to apprehend a murder suspect.

This is typically referred to as "exigent circumstances" in American law. Often when evidence is obtained without a warrant or exigent circumstances, it must be thrown out. It sounds like Australians will be afforded no such rights.

What I'm referring to with probable cause, Is when there's enough evidence to justify an arrest/search without a warrant, prior to further Intervention.
