Musk may be only an investor in Tesla, but he surely didn't make it boring. He really helped with keeping Tesla going through struggles. Other investors probably would have pulled out long ago, especially since what happened to American car manufactures in 2008.
Why anyone worships a man who's greatest accomplishment is stealing Tesla from two other creators is beyond me. Discounting his little publicity stunts, he's nothing but another boring investor.
Well, he stole Tesla by what's a bordering-on-illegal hostile takeover. Essentially, this makes him just someone who owns a company helping said company go through struggles via viral marketing. Again: Very boring and typical. Tesla doesn't even really innovate as nearly anything it proposes has already been done or is being done by other car companies. The fact is that he's only "interesting" because he appeals to the massive Reddit audience, but he's really just some CEO who markets his awkwardness.
Even in the best of days he... What? Saved a company? Angel investors have existed long before Musk's very birth. This does not make him interesting or even unique.
