I feel like there almost are no good animes. I havent watched that many, you have probably watched much more than me, but I cant think of any anime that I would right now really want to watch because Ive heard good things about it. I know, you cant judge if you havent seen it, but it feels like any anime is gonna be the same thing. A cliché storyline, a plot twist, revalations and so on.

Unless its hentai ofcourse

If you're looking for something that isn't mainstream, maybe try watching Kabaneri of The Iron Fortress. If you enjoy basketball like me, give Kuroko's Basketball a shot (No pun intended).

Hentai generally has worse plots than Anime. There are a few gems that break the mold though, like Kanajo x Kanajo x Kanajo and Itadaki Seieki. But Doujinshi can be even worse due to how easily they can be produced.

I watched Kakegurui yesterday, and it was surprisingly good. It was funny, with lots of low-key ...... if you know what I mean.

I think hentai has a much shorter time-span, but they usually tend to be more of an action-packed bomb rather than a dragged out drama with lots of dragged out dialogues and similar things.
