A good story should have an ending. Certain shows like Naruto, could take over 250 hours to watch. While they might not be terrible, I'm sure those 250 hours could be spent on shorter and more profound series.

I do not like long anime series. But I do have respect for the writers that have to stretch out a story to 200+ episodes though.

I feel like there almost are no good animes. I havent watched that many, you have probably watched much more than me, but I cant think of any anime that I would right now really want to watch because Ive heard good things about it. I know, you cant judge if you havent seen it, but it feels like any anime is gonna be the same thing. A cliché storyline, a plot twist, revalations and so on.

Unless its hentai ofcourse

If you're looking for something that isn't mainstream, maybe try watching Kabaneri of The Iron Fortress. If you enjoy basketball like me, give Kuroko's Basketball a shot (No pun intended).

Hentai generally has worse plots than Anime. There are a few gems that break the mold though, like Kanajo x Kanajo x Kanajo and Itadaki Seieki. But Doujinshi can be even worse due to how easily they can be produced.

I know there's a lot of "What's the best anime?" discussion here. But, there's almost now "What's a bad anime?" discussion. Are there any anime out there that you dislike, or even hate? I can't really think of any I hate. Maybe K-ON or Blend S. But other than that I'm not sure.

Definitely respect that they can keep the shows going for so long. When some shows get cancelled after the first season, it's impressive. For each anime, there's an office of people slaving to meet seasonal deadlines.

I feel like i’ve spent much more then 250 hours finishing Naruto & Shipuden. Not a single second was wasted IMO

I watched Kakegurui yesterday, and it was surprisingly good. It was funny, with lots of low-key ...... if you know what I mean.

I think hentai has a much shorter time-span, but they usually tend to be more of an action-packed bomb rather than a dragged out drama with lots of dragged out dialogues and similar things.

I might catch heat for this, I might not, but Yu Yu Hakasho. I find the whole fight tourney genre pretty mind numbing, but this one just bored me particularly, and I like most anime from that era that I've seen enough to at least watch a couple seasons.

I was expecting something really controversial, but I must admit, I hadn't actually heard of it. Is it about boxing or something?
