Yeah I wish emancipating open sources projects like this (I'm also thinking about microG to replace Google Services on Android, Nextcloud for self-hosted Google Drive & stuff) had more support ! They could really make a difference

lately more people going open source for many projects because of the Eagerness of companies about data collection.

tbh  poison was right about what microsoft is doing, i can back that with evidence but i feel lazy to search my PC xD, but indeed they exposed little bit in their main website about data collection, for example they spoke about how many times a user open the photos and for how long (that couldn't be possible if they don't harvest data) , same for other products. Speech recognition,cortana,edge, ads,diagnostics, location and alot of other embeded apps that microsoft forces the user to have them on their computer. maybe some day i will make a thread about it
