O I do, trust me. Like I said, I'm constantly running a VPN service of some sort on ANY and EVERY device I have that's connected to the internet no matter what I'm doing. I also have the internet kill switch activated on them all as well to cover myself while torrenting. Most people don't realize how important this is in-case your VPN looses it's connection. It will prevent others from seeing that you're torrenting or doing something else, for those who don't know.

I also like to disconnect and refresh my IP every few hours as well. Call me paranoid, but I believe it helps in remaining anonymous.

But honestly for as far as VPN service goes, I have been seriously debating biting the bullet and actually paying for a subscription to ExpressVPN. Not really that expensive. Just another $8.32 per month when you sign a 12 month contract. I honestly figure why not go ahead and actually pay for the service since I use it so much instead of having to continuously hunt for new keys or account info.

I'd vouch for Brave as I continuously use it for regular day-to-day activities and will serve you well after an install and some minor tinkering. The TOR mode within it exists purely to sidestep blocks and whatnot, so it won't really do much for you if you're looking for a complete replacement of TOR, though expecting an all-in-one browser is a bit of a tall order.

Very good choice.

Where supported, always enable the kill switch- you never know when the VPN will dropout, thus expose your real IP.

Absolutely.

Assuming a new Identity every so often, significantly helps minimize your online footprints.

Brave has some features to block cross site trackers and works similarly to google chrome.

I actually prefer Brave over almost every major browser.

It's very stable and responsive, which makes It a pleasure to use.

Looking for an alternative to Chrome's huge RAM consumption, I found Brave about 3 months ago and it's great. They say they respect privacy and anonymity online a lot, their great ad blocker is excellent.

I guess by safe he meant surfing anonymously...probably using google c or Firefox isn’t the best option. 😅

Do note that although privacy & anonymity work hand-In-hand, there Is a distinction between the two as follows:

* Privacy- Not being able to see what you're doing.
* Anonymity- Not being able to Identify you.

Definitely not.

My entire privacy and anonymity Is well configured, with a few Implementations as per below. There's more, but I do not wish to disclose any details.

Code:
* DNS servers encrypted.
* Running both Tor over VPN (triple-layer encryption) & VPN over Tor.
* 14 eyes countries restricted from the exit node.
* WebGL, WebRTC, Canvas and Font fingerprinting disabled.
* Tor Itself running In a controlled/sandbox environment.
* Bridges applied to the entry/guard node (changing every day or so).
* Tor entry and exit nodes heavily configured.
* Overall uniqueness operating on a 1:20 ratio.
* AES-Twofish-Serpent encryption on all drives.
* Full disc encryption x 2,  encrypted volumes x2, stored data x1 layer.
* Anti-keylogging software.
* Internal wireless network monitoring- auto scan at 2 minute Intervals.
* Local/Internal/non-routable IP address & device MAC address scanning.
* IDS/IPS active monitoring.
* Executing only performed via VMs (NAT connection to Host) Live CD.
* ISP Transparent DNS Proxy Interception bypassed.
