File encryption 01-17-2020, 12:45 PM

Are you concerned about the security of your personal files on your pc or in the cloud? Feels like they should be pretty secure if no one gains physical access, though I'm a bit scared of the possibility of some remote access situation through the internet. Figured an extra layer of security couldn't hurt. Maybe some kind of encryption program like https://www.veracrypt.fr/en/Home.html or https://nordlocker.com What do you guys think? Am I being too paranoid? It's not like I have a lot to hide, but who knows what hackers might be able to do with some personal information.
