Vulva BOSE Headphone Scam #1
As others have posted about Vulva's service potentially being a scam i figured i had better post my scam report. I notified vulva of my intention to post this report the Tuesday just gone and said i would give till Friday and if i didn't hear anything i would post. still didn't get a response so here i am.

I contacted Vulva about the BOSE QC 35 II SE service that was posted in June and on the 21/06/2019 managed to get in touch on discord and ask some pre sales questions. Everything seems legit and i paid the $60 for the 1 week service having had confirmation it would take under a week and that UK customers would be fine. Since i was moving house on 10/07/2019 i wanted to ensure the headphones would come before this date. Also asked if its ok to use my real address and was told yes.

Contact Vulva on the 29th asking if there was an ETA and was told it was going to take longer than expected, i asked by how much and was told a few days. This was fine as these things happen so wasn't too concerned.

The following day i was told i should use a drop address and using my real address was not recommended. I dont use drops or anything like that so had i known about this i wouldn't of taken the service.

Asked for a refund and was told refunded are not provided but "rest assured you will get your headphones. Sorry for the delay"

I was also told if anything goes wrong i would get a Dell Monitor instead.

07/15/2019 was told BOSE are sending confirmation

07/20/2019 asked what was going on and was told "Right now we dont think its possible to get you those headphones. so were setting up a dell monitor for you do you prefer a u3417w or a u3219q"

Asked if an Alienware monitor was possible instead and was told "Sure, send me your address please"

This has been my last communication with Vulva, tried contacting multiple times and got nothing back.

Seems my experience is similar to others. Being new here i have seen a few long standing members mention Vulva in comments when asked about SE services so i figured this person was somewhat trust worthy.

Not fussed about the $60 lost really, clearly i wont be getting it back or the original item i ordered and was ok to take a punt on this.

In order to help try and prevent issues like this in the future i think it may be a good idea to have an Admin or Mod receive a vouch item for any SE services offered to ensure the person can actually deliver whats being offered. If this is not possible due to the value of the item or cost involved in the SE then the Admin or mod should be provided substantial proof of the service before the thread is allowed to go live. Just my 2 cents.

I dont think i would personally buy any service from here again unless 1 of the above conditions are meet.

Sad to see all these, I was about to get a monitor from him and glad I didn't have the time to do it yet, but it really sucks for those that got scammed.

I recall asking to be his first sale and he never bothered contacting me about it. That was a red flag but I assumed it was just because I was in Canada. I have personally done Bose myself a few years ago but it was a shitshow and not worth the time and effort AT all. Thankfully I got a limited edition set out of then so w.e. from my experience I actually believed he was just unable to do Bose Canada, but now I'm seeing he was just picking out his victims carefully. I'm so sorry I missed this.

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @oni

I asked for Bose to him also, and I'm in Canada, he didn't answer me

@"Dismas" I'm not sure but it seems like many people got apparently scammed by @"Vulva" ... doubt that this is just a coincidence

I would know the staff will take care of this problem. There are like 3 scam reports open right now.
