Vulva BOSE Headphone Scam 08-03-2019, 03:44 PM

As others have posted about Vulva's service potentially being a scam i figured i had better post my scam report. I notified vulva of my intention to post this report the Tuesday just gone and said i would give till Friday and if i didn't hear anything i would post. still didn't get a response so here i am.
I contacted Vulva about the BOSE QC 35 II SE service that was posted in June and on the 21/06/2019 managed to get in touch on discord and ask some pre sales questions. Everything seems legit and i paid the $60 for the 1 week service having had confirmation it would take under a week and that UK customers would be fine. Since i was moving house on 10/07/2019 i wanted to ensure the headphones would come before this date. Also asked if its ok to use my real address and was told yes.
Contact Vulva on the 29th asking if there was an ETA and was told it was going to take longer than expected, i asked by how much and was told a few days. This was fine as these things happen so wasn't too concerned.
The following day i was told i should use a drop address and using my real address was not recommended. I dont use drops or anything like that so had i known about this i wouldn't of taken the service.
Asked for a refund and was told refunded are not provided but "rest assured you will get your headphones. Sorry for the delay"
I was also told if anything goes wrong i would get a Dell Monitor instead.
07/15/2019 was told BOSE are sending confirmation
07/20/2019 asked what was going on and was told "Right now we dont think its possible to get you those headphones. so were setting up a dell monitor for you do you prefer a u3417w or a u3219q"
Asked if an Alienware monitor was possible instead and was told "Sure, send me your address please"
This has been my last communication with Vulva, tried contacting multiple times and got nothing back.
Seems my experience is similar to others. Being new here i have seen a few long standing members mention Vulva in comments when asked about SE services so i figured this person was somewhat trust worthy.
Not fussed about the $60 lost really, clearly i wont be getting it back or the original item i ordered and was ok to take a punt on this.
In order to help try and prevent issues like this in the future i think it may be a good idea to have an Admin or Mod receive a vouch item for any SE services offered to ensure the person can actually deliver whats being offered. If this is not possible due to the value of the item or cost involved in the SE then the Admin or mod should be provided substantial proof of the service before the thread is allowed to go live. Just my 2 cents.
I dont think i would personally buy any service from here again unless 1 of the above conditions are meet.
