You need protection ALOT protection, use VPN change proxy/your ip every 10 minutes
If your using a vpn alongside tor, then by default you don't need to change your ip address every ten minutes, as it is already set to something other than your real one, and tor changes it as well.
Op, you hear a lot of darkweb horror stories, but in my experience, 90% of the users have no malicious intentions, and just wanna buy their shit, maybe watch some cp and leave. (personally I think cp is disgusting, but not the time or forum for that discussion)

This ^
Compatibility permitted, run two VPNs. Going by personal experience, Â ZenMate & ExpressVPN work very well together.
I personally use zenmate, but have not tried ExpressVPN, in your opinion, which would you say was better?

I used to have a laptop that had a little plastic slide-switch that covered up the webcam when it wasn't in use.
Damn, I've gone through like 10 laptops in 5 years. This is ridiculous.
But yes, Double-VPN or Onion over VPN with Nord plus a VM combined with TOR and a properly watched and cataloged HTTPS proxies with SSL, and if possible, login credentials not at all traceable to you personally.
Do everything you can to confuse ipleak.net or check2ip.com and you're golden. No DNS leaks, or you're not prepared. No IPv6 leakage.

And nobody mentions:
1. Tor might still be backdoored by NSA/Darpa.
2. There is also i2p
