RE: RAT #11
Thank you guys I just don't get how it even happened because I only use my data.

That whole imei sim phone number package injecting gizmo wouldn't make sense either because the phone company is the only one that knows of it.

Maybe some sort of pre installed app on my OS I have a galaxy J3 prime and I'm running stock OS...anyone else know what I'm talking about...

Are you sure that you didn't install something, or even open a external document?

I'm positive that I didn't install anything out of the ordinary well a rom...majoras mask...this is something bigger I think. It's happened with multiple phones and I'm just sketched about it.EVERYTHING FROM GOOGLE PLAY STORE this time. I even went to the length of disabling everything and denying all permissions.

What else could it be I'm stumped.

Always make sure unknown sources is set to off (unchecked) and make sure no one who has access to your device is doing anything to them (girlfriend, roommate, etc).

It's certainly a good option that's overlooked by many users.

That said, If the System Volume Information folder (where Windows stores the restore points) Is Infected by the RAT, a System Restore will be futile. This Is one of many reasons why a System Restore fails when users try to roll back their Infected system to an earlier date.

After the reset, what's exactly happening with the phone's functionality that's consistent with that of a RAT?
