I don't need them for reading, but still wear them all day- just so I get accustomed to them thereby It becomes a way of life with no Issues.

Now you know for certain it's true haha x). And yup wearing them will make you get accustomed to them faster.

Depending on how much you need glasses, you could opt for contacts or so called "night contacts". But that's only needed if you are actively pursueing some kind of sport I guess o.o.

Yes that's for sure, I definitely know what It feels like.

I've heard mixed feedback with contacts. Some say It's too much of a hassle (cleaning, putting them In and out etc), whilst others say once you get used to them, they're better than glasses. The only way I'll know for sure Is If I try them myself.

@mothered I guess trying it out yourself is the best way. What I can say is that contacts are pretty easy to handle, once you get used to them. There are soft and hard ones. I think if you elaborate on your needs and interests, I could recommend you some for trying, it's really easy to get into.

Having good eyesight with glasses is awesome. But having good eye sight with contacts may be a bit better, since there is nothing as big as glasses restricting you. Ofc nothing beats having good natural eye sight, even then, there are some workarounds, without going straight for laser therapy.

Thanks for all your advice, It's certainly been of big help.

Given I've now got glasses and slowly becoming accustomed to them, I'll continue along and see how I go. If they get annoying or don't serve their purpose as per my expectations, I'll opt for contacts and perhaps consider laser surgery.
