Why did you get rid of them?

I have heard (don't know how true this Is), that your eyes can get corrected with glasses. Or perhaps laser eye surgery did the trick.

I did the laser surgery 3 years ago but i have a feeling that sooner or later i'll have to put glasses again or do another surgery if possible.

Everyone should learn how to code, it teaches you how to think.

You don't have to be a Genius to know how to code you just need to be determined.

The computer is incredibly fast, accurate, and stupid; man is unbelievably slow, inaccurate, and brilliant; together they are powerful beyond imagination.

There is not much information on glasses prices that has been consolidated for easy comparison but here is some that I did find.
A short article http://health.costhelper.com/eyeglasses.html and this image.

It takes a little getting used to, for sure; you'll likely mess around with every new pair you get for a few weeks to make sure they're straight (it sounds weird, but it's really annoying when they aren't perfect).

If you have a large nose or don't care so much about appearance, I highly suggest getting plastic frames with built-on nose supports. I made the mistake of not doing that, so the bridge of my nose is constantly getting squeezed.
Also, since you probably work with computers more than I do, look into something like this. I've had it on most of the pairs I've had and it makes a huge difference.
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

Thank you for everything mentioned here, It's of huge help.

I didn't even think of the nose supports. Prior to reading all posts thus far, I had no Idea as to the magnitude of things to consider and what to expect after wearing glasses. To be honest, I can't wait until I get them. I'm sick to death of the constant headaches I experience each time I'm out and about- and the headaches seem to be getting worse. I'm checking your link now.

Thanks again.

It does seem that PCs are a significant contributing factor In vision deterioration.

Thankfully, glasses are an Instant fix.

Personally i wouldn't really say instant that would be laser eye surgery but yes it does help but sadly you never know when you can get them gone.

So you're saying that the moment you wear glasses for the very first time, there's no noticeable difference In vision?

As such, your vision may deteriorate and you'll then "have to" get glasses.

I was the same as yourself- I avoided them for a long time until I simply cannot handle the headaches (from eye strain) any longer.
