Hi. My name is John. I am new here so I will introduce myself. I have around 5 years of coding experience, mostly with application-based stuff. I have been wanting to learn more about security, and how to bypass it, for a while now. I found sinisterly via google and decided to register. I would appreciate it if some experienced members could point me in the direction of some good material on hacking and exploits. I would like to emphasize that quick results do not interest me so much as actually learning the technical details behind hacks, that can be useful in finding future 0-days.

It's scary that you've been a developer for 5 years with no knowledge of security. Glad you're wanting to get into it now, better late than never.
