Fun little fact about the German language... If they don't have a word for it, they steal it from the English or they just mash all the words used to describe it together.
ex: Krankenhaus = Sick house = hospital
Interesting. I thought English was the newer language.
It is, however certain words are a pain in the ass:
Geschlechtsverkehr = sex (intercourse), but nobody wants to spell that... so they just use the english word
