What German sounds like to non-germans - phyrrus9 - 10-15-2016 Recently shared this with another member, and was suggested I share it for you all. Now, the key here is to sit down with a nice glass of whatever, turn your volume to medium loud (you'll be glad you did) and sit through the whole thing. I'm interested to know what word you made it to without shooting whatever your drink was through your nose. RE: What German sounds like to non-germans - Wildfire - 10-16-2016 Hah, this is really great. I'm not German but I seriously wonder if they put that much stress on their words XD RE: What German sounds like to non-germans - phyrrus9 - 10-16-2016 (10-16-2016, 02:21 AM)Axi Wrote: Hah, this is really great. Kek, didn't even notice that. Nice. RE: What German sounds like to non-germans - Jiggly - 10-16-2016 This was awesome! I'm so glad you showed it to me! I actually was once told that British people sound similar to Germans to people from the Netherlands. It's funny since I think they sound similar to Germans. I weirdly like the German accent (probably as there's a comedian I like with said accent), but I strongly dislike them individually. To me, they seem arrogant, cocky and rude. It's just a different social system and language, so I shouldn't judge. xD RE: What German sounds like to non-germans - phyrrus9 - 10-16-2016 (10-16-2016, 03:17 AM)Jiggly Wrote: This was awesome! I'm so glad you showed it to me! From speaking German long enough I have a mildly german accent.. but I can still pronounce squirrel. RE: What German sounds like to non-germans - pvnk - 10-16-2016 My roommate is actually 100% German. He's an exchange student from Germany. |
