This thread Is around 10 months old, but given there's many replies to date, I shall provide mine.

Many years ago (around 2004), I was using "Azureus" (now known as "Vuze") which was fine at the time. uTorrent wasn't around back then, so I didn't miss what I couldn't have. I now use uTorrent and It serves It's purpose very well Indeed.

I use qbittorrent. Even though I don't torrent much.

From what I recall, It never used to have ads, but now they come about every so often.

They're not annoying and don't execute In separate windows, so I just tend to Ignore them.

For what I know, uTorrent has have ads for multiple years, but yeah, they are always in the corner hidden, but they still get some money for showing the ad, I don't think they count clicks. If they do they would have been more 'mean' with the ads.

Stopped using Utorrent and started using Qtorrent

Always stuck to Deluge, and its never let me down. Don't know why people are still using uTorrent.

Yeah, I certainly agree with their ads.

I started using uTorrent around 8 years ago and can't recall their ads being as conspicuous as they are now. Perhaps I simply didn't notice them at the time. They don't bother me, I just hit the downloads, minimize uTorrent and It obviously runs In the background.

Started using qBittorrent after the miners incident on uTorrent, don't regret it one bit.
