[Ideas?] unofficial Borderlands spinoff #1
I just downloaded p5js, probably one of my favorite libraries ever, and after screwing around for a bit, I've decided to make a Borderlands spin off. I already have some ideas (see below), but I want suggestions from you guys.

Ideas:
  • First Person
  • Stationary character (because fuck 3d math)
  • Selectable BL2 character menu
  • Weapon wheel
  • Weapon categories
  • Weapon stats
  • Random boss (badass) spawns
  • Random health/weapon/cash/ammo drops
  • Inventory
  • Player levels (scaling stats)
  • Map selection
  • Level barriers

Any feedback or ideas are appreciated. (@Oni, pretty sure you'd be interested in this)
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

Kickass! I actually ordered BL2 like yesterday. If you go through with this, I'll test your mod out. (If you want me to)

It would be a standalone program, not a mod. And thanks Biggrin

How about you post when you have a semi-functional prototype. Its easy to write a list, but then as soon as you're in the studio/editor, you need to actually start trying to get these ideas to work in a practical way.

I have a few components already functional, but nothing near ready to post. Give me a few days, and I can publish the first version.
